Debbie Johnston

Debbie is an accomplished communications consultant with over 25 years’ experience as a senior advisor and in-house as part of an executive management team. Debbie currently manages a broad portfolio of clients in the corporate and public sectors including transport, green freeports and packaging . Previously as the Head of Communications for STV group PLC, she was responsible for group communications across the UK.

Debbie is a trusted advisor and works with clients to develop strong, long term relationships. She currently advises some very successful and growing businesses across the UK and Europe including Forth Ports Group, one of the UK’s largest ports businesses, the Forth Green Freeport consortium, Macfarlane Group and Reactec.

Her experience of both consultancy and leading an in-house PLC communications team ensures that clients get to work with someone who really knows how to deliver effective communications. Debbie is skilled in media strategy and engagement, communication planning, crisis management, creative writing, facilitation and project management.
