Lesley Thomson

Lesley is a communication and brand expert. She advises a wide range of major organisations across the private, public and third sectors.

She has a long-standing collaboration with international design studio, Graven with whom she developed Scotland’s Creative Economy Strategy and the highly-successful BuildMyBrand™ process that has helped more than 700 businesses of all sizes to develop their brands.

An experienced facilitator, Lesley works with clients to help them to develop effective communication strategies and manage complex issues. More recently she has been working with senior leaders to support them with adopting Design Thinking as a way to help them evolve their businesses, products or services.

Lesley is a Circular Economy Ambassador for Glasgow and represents the business on the Sustainable Glasgow group. Lesley is leading Spreng Thomson’s net zero plans.

She has served on the Boards of several major cultural and creative organisations including the Glasgow School of Art where she was a Vice Chair, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Scottish Ballet, Scottish Opera and The Arches Theatre. She is currently a Trustee and Vice Chair of the Dewar Arts Awards and a Director of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce.
