Spreng Thomson, one of Scotland’s most respected PR and communications consultancies, is broadening its range of services, with leading event management specialist, Emma Watson Mack, joining as a Spreng Thomson Associate.
Glasgow-based Spreng Thomson works with some of the UK’s leading businesses and organisations, helping its clients to achieve their goals using intelligent, creative communications.

Emma brings more than 20 years’ experience and talent in event management and hospitality operations gained in London and Scotland following a successful career serving with the armed forces.
While working at Barclays’ global headquarters in London she was involved with the Barclays Premier League and the Global Challenge Round the World Yacht Race.
At Goldman Sachs she led the EMEA event management and hospitality operations. Most recently, Emma was Development Director at Entrepreneurial Scotland
Emma said: “I am very excited to be joining the Spreng Thomson team. My focus has always been on how to create immaculately run, face to face opportunities which set the stage for moments of inspiration and uplifting outcomes.
“For me it is ultimately all about how you make people feel. In a post pandemic world – there is going to be an even greater focus on in person events like never before.
“Over the past six years, I have partnered with Spreng Thomson on many projects from prestigious intimate gatherings to major, international VIP events and conferences. We work extremely well together as a team and I am looking forward to building on this in the months and years ahead.”
In addition to her events portfolio, Emma is a Trustee for HorseBack UK, the Officers Association Scotland and a Governor of Loretto School. She is a Fellow of the Rank Foundation.
The Spreng Thomson team has extensive experience as PR and media relations experts, brand builders, crisis communicators, digital strategists, trainers and facilitators. The team has considerable experience and expertise in hybrid and virtual event hosting including AGMs, brand building workshops and live webinars.
Spreng Thomson recently strengthened its digital team with Katie Hester joining the business as a Digital Content Strategist.
Katie specialises in building thought leadership and driving lead generation for SMEs in the technology sector.
Before transitioning to Content Strategy and Production, Katie was an associate with a large international law firm and a Director of Communications for an IT company servicing Fortune 100 and 500 clients.
