Caledonia Housing Association, one of Scotland’s largest registered social landlords, announces a number of Management Board changes following its Annual General Meeting this week.

Current Chair, Alan Nairn, has stepped down from the Board after three years as Chair having originally been appointed to the Caledonia Board as a Non-Executive Director in 2016. He is succeeded by Tim Goddard, who joined the Board in 2020. Tim is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years’ experience of acquisitions and development in the student housing sector.

Two further Non-Executive Directors, Andrew Richmond and Lorna Williamson, have also stepped down from the Board.

They are succeeded on the Caledonia Board by: Anne Culley; Murdo Mackay; Angus McLeod; Margaret McLay; and Keri-Ann Osfield. The new members provide a range of HR, IT and cyber security, housing association, business change and finance knowledge and experience. Current Board members, Katherine Burke, Allan Jones, Douglas McLaren and Derek Robertson, will continue to serve on the Board.

Alan Nairn, departing Chair, said:

“It has been a privilege to serve on the Board and latterly as Chair of Caledonia Housing Association. I’m proud of the approach that Caledonia takes to its vitally important work, putting its tenants front and centre of everything the organisation does. I will watch Caledonia’s progress from afar with great interest and affection and I wish the organisation great success as it continues to grow.”

New Chair, Tim Goddard, said:

“The role of Caledonia Housing Association is enormously important and on behalf of our tenants, now and in the future, I want to thank Alan for his considered stewardship of the Board and both Andrew and Lorna for their service to Caledonia over the years.

“I look forward to the next chapter in the Caledonia story with anticipation and I am confident that, together with the whole Caledonia team, we can take the organisation to the next level and continue to meet the needs of our tenants, supporting and creating strong, vibrant communities.”
