Inaugural call at Rosyth for Balmoral

Dylan Macdonaldblog

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ flagship, Balmoral, manoeuvring away from the quayside at the Port of Rosyth to sail under the three bridges on the River Forth. The ship was assisted by Forth Ports’ pilots as she departs for Sweden on her inaugural cruise season. Rosyth is Forth Ports’ busiest cruise port with 41 cruise calls this year. The port has benefitted from significant investment to become Scotland’s key cruise turnaround hub, with great destinations to sail to. Across all their Scottish ports, Forth Ports are looking forward to another busy cruise season with an estimated 175,000 passengers expected in 2018.
