The entrepreneur behind the luxury sportswear brand, Monreal London, comes to Scotland in April to talk about her rise in the competitive world of sport and leisure fashion.

Stefani Grosse, CEO and founder of the prestigious active wear range, is the latest speaker confirmed for this year’s Entrepreneurial Scotland Summit. She joins Jo Fairley, founder of chocolate brand, Green and Blacks, and Mike Soutar, co-founder of Shortlist Media and a regular on the BBC TV programme, The Apprentice, who have already confirmed their participation at the world-class business networking event on 25 April.

Disappointed with the quality and style of sportswear, Stefani, the former professional athlete launched her first collection in Harrods in 2013. It is now a firmly established global brand with stockists around the world, and the Duchess of Cambridge, Victoria Beckham and Elle Macpherson have been spotted in Monreal designs.

German-born Stefani said: “I am looking forward to coming to Scotland soon to take part in the Entrepreneurial Scotland Summit which is a firmly established favourite on the business calendar. Events like this, where business leaders and entrepreneurs can meet and share experiences, are vitally important.”

Other speakers in this year’s impressive line-up of entrepreneurial talent will be unveiled soon. Meanwhile tickets for the summit and dinner at Gleneagles Hotel go on general sale on 1 March. They are currently available to members only at https://www.entrepreneurialscotland.com/es-annual-summit-2019

Building on the 2018 ‘Global Mindset’ theme, the ES Annual Summit will focus on the key issues for high growth organisations in Scotland. Attendees can learn what drives and worries business leaders and pick up tips for effective growth.

Cazenove Capital is headline partner, with DC Thomson as Summit media partners.

Sandy Kennedy, Chief Executive of Entrepreneurial Scotland, said: “It’s fantastic to be able to welcome Stefani as our latest speaker and hear about her experiences building a popular global brand in a highly challenging marketplace. I will share more details about other speakers soon. I’m really excited by this year’s programme, so watch this space!”

Bob Hair, Head of Edinburgh Office, Cazenove Capital, said: “I am thrilled that Stefani will be speaking at this year’s conference. Entrepreneurial Scotland is once again being supported by prestigious speakers, keen to share their stories in order to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and founders. We are really looking forward to hearing from these talented individuals in April for what is shaping up to be another memorable conference.”
