Bullet Express, one of the UK’s fastest-growing supply chain logistics, distribution and storage businesses, has introduced a Movement Guarantee service for the beers, wines and spirits sector.
The Guarantee provides financial security to customers, clearance and documentation expertise as well as direct HMRC access. It is available to cover UK and worldwide beverage movements enabling the company to expand its offer to customers in the UK, Europe and worldwide.
Established in 1990, Bullet Express now has more than 800 regular customers; over 145 trucks and trailers on the country’s roads; and four bespoke storage sites with capacity for up to 40,000 pallets. It is a full-service logistics business with over 150 employees providing UK and European road freight services, worldwide air freight, sea freight, customs and storage solutions for customers.
Now, in addition to a full range of worldwide export and import services, Bullet Express is investing in its services to accommodate growth within the drinks sector by road, air and sea. This includes experienced forwarding staff with extensive beverage knowledge, local transport for added security, trailers and skeletal trailers for container movements and access to a worldwide shipping agent base.
Work has begun on Bullet Express’s 360,000 square feet Baillieston storage facility to accommodate excise bonded storage. The work is scheduled to be complete in the coming months.
