Fishers Wins UK Commercial Laundry of the Year 2017
Fishers has been named as UK Commercial Laundry of the Year 2017 at the Laundry and Drycleaning Awards (LADAs). The prestigious title was presented to Commercial Director, Scott Inglis, at the awards ceremony earlier this month at the spectacular, Mercedes-Benz World, Surrey. Fishers is the market leader for textile rental, industrial workwear and laundry throughout Scotland and the North of England.
On winning the award, Michael Jones, Managing Director at Fishers, said:
“It is fantastic to be recognised by others in the industry and we are delighted to be recognised as Commercial Laundry of the Year. This is a great achievement for us as a team and it recognises the hard work everyone puts in. Judges’ comments:
“This was another tough one for the judges with the calibre of entries being really high. Fishers is not just a group of laundries, but an important part of the tourism sector in Scotland and the North of England.”
Now in their third year, the LADAs are organised by Laundry and Cleaning Today, a leading publication for the textile care industry. The event hosted 245 guests from the laundry industry and raised funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK on the night. The awards have 12 unique categories, ranging from Most Environmental and Sustainable company to Lifetime Achievement.
