Olsen\u2019s <em>Black Watch<\/em> in Rosyth marks 100,000 cruise passengers for Capital Cruising in Scotland<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines\u2019 804-guest ship<em> Black Watch <\/em>commenced her cruise season on 14<sup>th<\/sup> August 2017 with her arrival under the iconic Forth Bridges into Rosyth.\u00a0 Fred. Olsen will be offering eight cruises from Rosyth aboard <em>Black Watch<\/em> in 2017 and will further strengthen its connection with Rosyth 2018\/19 by introducing its 1,350-guest flagship, <em>Balmoral<\/em>, which will be sailing from the Port for the first time ever, on a total of nine itineraries.<\/p>\n<p>Clare Ward, Director of Product and Customer Services at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said: \u201c<em>Black Watch\u2019s cruise season from Rosyth builds upon Fred. Olsen\u2019s already-close relationship with this busy Scottish port. T<\/em><em>he Port of Rosyth boasts spectacular scenery and three iconic bridges; Black Watch\u2019s guests will be amongst the first to sail under the new Queensferry Bridge<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Capital Cruising\u2019s Head of Cruise at Rosyth, Robert Mason said:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cRosyth is fast becoming Scotland\u2019s key port to cruise from, with some amazing destinations on offer. It\u2019s so easy to arrive at the port, board a cruise liner and quickly be on your vacation. Across all our Scottish ports we are enjoying a very busy cruise season this year and with the arrival of the Black Watch on 14 August, we will have welcomed over 100,000 passengers in 2017 with more due over the next few months.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Fred. Olsen is offering guests a variety of itineraries from Rosyth, from August to October 2017, including a seven-night \u2018Scenic Fjords of Norway\u2019 cruise, a 10-night \u2018Cultural Cities of Northern Europe\u2019 sailing, and a 16-night \u2018Landscapes of Portugal &amp; the Canaries\u2019 sunshine getaway. <em>Black Watch<\/em> has benefitted from an extensive multi-million Pound refurbishment, and now offers guests improved facilities on board, including a new informal dining area, Brigadoon, and the creation of a new speciality dining restaurant, The Black Watch Room, as well as an upgraded Glentanar main restaurant and new 3D-enabled Marina Theatre.<\/p>\n<p>Cruises on offer from Rosyth, from May to July 2018, include a five-night \u2018Norwegian Fjords\u2019 cruise, a 14-night \u2018Scandinavian Capitals &amp; St. Petersburg\u2019 sailing, and a nine-night \u2018German Waterways\u2019 experience.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fred.
