{"id":399,"date":"2017-02-28T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-02-28T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sprengthomson.com\/macfarlane-launches-new-protective-packaging-products-packaging-innovations\/"},"modified":"2017-02-28T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2017-02-28T00:00:00","slug":"macfarlane-launches-new-protective-packaging-products-packaging-innovations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sprengthomson.com\/macfarlane-launches-new-protective-packaging-products-packaging-innovations\/","title":{"rendered":"Macfarlane launches new protective packaging products at Packaging Innovations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Macfarlane Packaging, the UK\u2019s largest distributor of protective packaging materials, is launching innovative new packing products designed for the retail and industrial markets, during this week\u2019s Packaging Innovations event at the Birmingham NEC (1<sup>st<\/sup> to 2<sup>nd<\/sup> March).<\/p>\n<p>The exciting new products being launched at the show include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bubble Wrap<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Expressions<\/strong><strong>&#8211;<\/strong> In partnership with Sealed Air, Macfarlane is launching \u2018Bubble Wrap IB Expressions\u2019 an on-demand inflatable cushioning product available in a range of vibrant colours and patterns, which can be branded. At the Macfarlane Packaging stand, E13, there will be a selection from the Expressions bubble range including heart shaped, smiley face and thank you messaging (<em>see image<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Postal Cube &#8211; <\/strong>This is a completely new concept in cardboard design to reduce the wastage and storage of regular postal tubes.\u00a0The postal cube comes flat on a roll and can be dispensed and cut to size as required (<em>see image<\/em>).\u00a0It is square, not the usual round shape, which is more courier-friendly.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Airsac<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> RapidFlow &#8211; <\/strong>This new fully automated inflation solution is designed for protecting very fragile goods. The new RapidFlow is 100% recyclable and has been designed for high demand packing operations, speeding up inflation time and enabling retailers to get their goods quickly dispatched.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Geami WrapPak<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong> &#8211; a new range of colours for this eco-friendly protective paper packaging solution will also be launched at the show. Geami\u2019s WrapPak is an innovative packaging solution developed by Ranpak in partnership with Macfarlane (<em>see image<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Commenting on the product launches and the show, <strong>Laurel Granville, Marketing Director of Macfarlane Packaging<\/strong> said: \u201c<em>We are excited about the Packaging Innovations event this year where Macfarlane will be showcasing a number of innovative products for the retail and industrial markets.
