Workplace health risk prevention expert, Reactec, has announced the appointment of Sam Thomas and Leif Anderson as Executive Directors on its Board.
Sam is Reactec’s Sales Director and has been with the company since 2021. As Sales Director, Sam leads the UK based sales team and is building a channel network for the international expansion of Reactec’s ground-breaking technology R-Link* which was launched in 2022. R-Link is revolutionising the management of health and safety risks with audiences around the world in the construction, utilities, facilities management, rail and manufacturing sectors.
Leif joined the business in 2016 and became Chief Technology Officer in 2018. Leif leads a team of experts who develop Reactec’s technology suite of workplace wearables and cloud-based data analytics. Leif has been a key part of the business evolution from being an industry leader in the risk from exposure to vibration, to becoming a multi-risk platform which is driving the prevention of harm to a worker’s health from vibration, noise, dust, and proximity to hazards.

Commenting on the appointments, Jacqui McLaughlin, Chief Executive of Reactec said: “Sam and Leif have both proven their abilities as business leaders within Reactec and have been key contributors to our success to date. *The R-Link smart watch is a multi-function wearable, designed specifically for arduous work environments. It simultaneously monitors real-time exposure to Hand Arm Vibration, alerting when exposure is dangerous; provides proximity warnings when the wearer enters the exclusion zone of a hazard; is an IoT device to provide real time information and alerts from third party sensors; and can receive and acknowledge real-time messages. The data collected by the R-Link watch is automatically and securely captured through the Reactec eco-system and is transmitted to the Reactec cloud-based Analytics. The Reactec Analytics turns the data collected by R-Link into insight to enable employers to prevent risk to their employees.
