The pilot will run for an initial six weeks with the aim of gathering a large group of attendees to then continue the sessions permanently. The first session on Monday 20th January 2025 kicked off at Shoot Soccer in Ayr and saw an impressive turnout with good numbers of male and female participants as well as some of the Stagecoach team, including drivers, engineers and graduates who joined in the fun. The launch of the pilot was well-received by everyone involved, demonstrating the importance and benefits of this initiative. One of the Stagecoach drivers has also expressed an interest in attending the sessions on a regular basis.

Stagecoach have announced that donation collections are underway for the ‘Night Before Christmas Campaign’ charity appeal, as Santa tours the West Coast of Scotland collecting donations in the world’s-first electric midi bus.

Stagecoach West Scotland announces today that they are the official West Scotland Transport Partner for the magical ‘Starry Nights’ illuminated experience, held at Dean Castle Country Park in Kilmarnock this month.

Starry Nights is a Christmas-themed experience, running from 13-23 December, which includes stunning festive lights, lasers and captivating festive sound installations, as well as carol performances, a Festive Food Village, and a Festive Funfair to entertain friends and family alike. Kilmarnock’s historic Dean Castle will provide the backdrop for the stunning installations, with the building’s front and back elevations lit up for the festive event.

Stagecoach West Scotland unveiled its fleet of 12 world-first, electric midibuses today (21 October) which will add to the all-electric Ayrshire bus routes this autumn. Stagecoach has announced a range of easy-to-use bus services for golf fans attending The 152nd Open in Troon.

Stagecoach will operate park and ride shuttles, which are funded by The R&A, from the official car parks to the Championship at Royal Troon. On approach to Troon, fans should follow signs to “The Open Park & Ride”. In addition to the park and ride services, a complimentary shuttle service will run every afternoon throughout the Championship from South Beach, Troon, to Troon town centre to enable fans to easily access the variety of local businesses in Troon town centre.

Stagecoach West Scotland is excited to announce the return of the ‘Doonfest Express’, which will offer free late-night bus travel for festival goers at Doonfest on the weekend of July 5th and 6th. This service was well received at last year’s festival and attendees will once again be able to hop on a Stagecoach bus from the festival site in Dalrymple to get home safely to Ayr after the festival.
