A picture is worth a thousand words

A strong image can bring a story to life or become the story itself

At Spreng Thomson we work alongside a number of trusted and highly skilled photographers who really understand our clients and capture their businesses so well. Although the image suggests a location with a warmer climate – or indeed another planet – it was taken in Scotland. Captured by Peter Devlin, this shot was taken at The Port of Rosyth in September which is owned by our client, Forth Ports.

It shows a 70,000 tonne road salt mountain stockpiled at the port in readiness for Scotland’s winter season. We love how Port Operator, Craig Wright, is pictured at the peak of the salt mountain ahead of the salt being covered over until it is needed.
