Bywater Properties has transformed the iconic building at 274 Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow city centre which has been renamed McLellan Works for a new and innovative mixed-use development. Following a range of new office lettings in the building during July 2021 McLellan Works has revealed the first retail letting, post completion of works. Healthy food takeaway Sprigg has signed up to a new, long-term lease with street level frontage, beside the main lobby for the building.
Following its refurbishment, McLellan Works provides some of Glasgow’s newest and most stylish office spaces and has bucked the market trend during the pandemic achieving three new lettings, extending to approximately 5,000 sq feet of space.
McLellan Works has revealed more of their vision for the former McLellan Galleries in Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street. The iconic city block, which is next to Glasgow School of Art and at the centre of the transformative new Avenues Project, will be turned into one of Glasgow’s most contemporary, creative workspaces.
One of Glasgow’s most elegant and attractive buildings, situated at the heart of the city’s famous Sauchiehall Street, is set to be transformed into a prime SME and co-working space. McLellan Works will become home to ambitious and creative SME businesses and incorporate a curated mix of outstanding local retail, food and café operators and is proposed to open in Autumn 2019.
